Garment measurements

These are the dimensions of the garment itself, measured flat — not body measurements. Compare them against a piece you already own and like the fit of.

How to measure

• Bust: Measure around the fullest part of the bust, tape level and not pulled tight.
• Waist: Measure around the natural waist — the narrowest point, usually just above the navel.

Measurements are in centimetres; inches are given for convenience. Allow a tolerance of about 1–2 cm on handworked pieces.
